This is a conference and strategic planning summit that gathers visionary leaders from academia, civil society and government who work towards bringing health equity to the Americas. This year’s theme is centered on Promoting Health Equity in Cancer Prevention. At this convening, participants will learn about and discuss ongoing and emerging issues affecting health equity in the Americas.
Objectives of the Summit
- Convene 40-60 visionary leaders from academia, civil society and government from the Americas who conduct research, policy and programs on cancer prevention and control.
- Develop a strategic plan for the direction of health equities in the Americas at the civic, government and academic level
- Strengthen partnerships by providing 3 networking opportunities at a Summit in Panama
- Publish the strategic planning results of the Summit on the Center for Health Equity in the Americas’ website
This event is by invitation only. There is no fee for registration, however confirmation is essential in order to make all travel arrangements on your behalf.
