How to apply for financial assistance for your damaged home and/or property

  • FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) – can provide financial and direct services to eligible individuals affected by the wildfires and other emergencies and disasters
  • How to Apply to FEMA.
    Three ways to apply:
    • Call the FEMA helpline at 1-800-621-3362, 4 AM to 10 PM (PST). Help is available in most languages.

Employment Support

  • If you lost your job due to the fires, apply for benefits through the State of California.

Child Care

  • Los Angeles-area YMCA locations are offering free child care for children of first responders, essential workers, and families who have been displaced, evacuated or who have otherwise experienced loss.
