Yaneth L. Rodriguez, MPH

Yaneth L. Rodriguez, MPH, earned a Master of Public Health degree and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention from the University Southern California. She helps to manage the Center for Health Equity in the Americas.

Rodriguez has worked on numerous projects as an evaluator, including Es Tiempo, a project to get Latina women at high risk for cervical cancer into early screening and to encourage vaccination of their sons and daughters against the HPV virus in highly impacted and vulnerable communities.  She was also the Project Manager of the Tobacco Education and Materials Lab (TEAM Lab), where she worked on materials development, evaluation and program management (http://teamlab.usc.edu).

She is currently the Community Data Collection Manager for a research project titled, “Maximizing Retailers Responsiveness to FDA Regulatory Authority in Minority Communities” at the Tobacco Center of Regulatory Sciences at USC, a large scale retail environment study among five vulnerable populations (African American, Hispanic/Latino, Korean, American Indian, and Non-Hispanic White) in California.
