Our Director, Dr. Lourdes Baezconde-Garbanati attended the Cancer Equity Colloquium, in Somerville, Massachusetts, from June 14, 2024 to June 15, 2024. The Cancer Equity Colloquium addressed the diverse issues that underlie cancer inequities. The goal of the Colloquium is to bring together individuals from healthcare, academia, private/public business sector, and the public at large to develop unique approaches to tackling these inequities. Attendees had the opportunity to engage with each other and the Cancer Equity Colloquium faculty to potentially develop novel partnerships.

Dr. Clayton Yates is an internationally recognized expert in prostate cancer health disparities research, cell biology, molecular biology, and molecular pathology.
