The John P. McGovern Award for Excellence in Medical Education is given out to those who have outstanding work in teaching in the medical curriculum and is chosen by a senior class. This was awarded by AMERSA (The Association for Multidisciplinary Education & Research in Substance Use & Addiction), Boston, MA
The William Foote Whyte Distinguished Career Award is awarded for important contributions in the field of sociology. This was awarded by Sociological Practice & Public Sociology (SPPS) section, American Sociological Association, Washington D.C.
The Social Science Distinguished Alumni Award is awarded to those who have outstanding merits and sustained contributions through research, practice, education, policy, or service. This award was presented by the Social Science Division, University of California Santa Cruz, Santa Cruz, CA.
The USC Mentoring Award for Faculty Mentoring Graduate Students is awarded to USC faculty who offer engagement, support, and an inclusive environment to the students and faculty. This award was presented by the Office of the Provost, University of Southern California, Los Angeles, CA.
