Kasra Behizad is a first-year medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC with a concentration in primary care and community medicine. He is a Board Member of USC’s Student-Run Clinic, focusing on improving team dynamics in inter-professional care teams and maximizing quality of care for indigent populations. Kasra has lived and worked in various communities, including South LA, San Mateo, and Peru, to implement service-based empowerment programs for children, adolescents, and adults.
Kasra Behizad earned a degree in health promotion and disease prevention from the University of Southern California, graduating in 2015. His current research interests include the design and evaluation of community health empowerment programs for adolescents.
