Overview
The purpose of the Center for Health Enhancement (CenHealth) is to conduct and promote student/faculty research, collaborations, and intervention programs on solutions to enhance health; that will contribute to closing gaps in vulnerable populations. CenHealth is directed by Dr. Lourdes Baezconde-Garbanati (Director) and Dr. Mary Ann Pentz (Co-Director), both Professors in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences. This center is funded by the Keck School of Medicine Dean’s office at USC. It is housed in the Department of Population and Public Health Sciences, Institute for Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Research.

Goals
- To facilitate partnerships and collaboration among students, faculty, policy makers, practitioners and researchers for health enhancement.
- To create a virtual space where the sharing of resources, research, and evidence-based practices can take place.
- To convene students, faculty, researchers, and stakeholders in order to have discussions, and disseminate research for health enhancement.
