AACR Highlight – Language as a predictor of HPV vaccinations

Congratulations to Bibiana Martinez, PhD candidate in Health Behavior Research in the Department of Preventive Medicine at USC, for presenting her research at AACR on language as a predictor of HPV vaccinations decision making among Latino parents. Bibiana’s research focuses on cancer screening and prevention disparities, especially among Latino and immigrant communities.

15th AACR Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved

Several staff members from the Community Outreach and Engagement (COE) office at the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center were present at the 15th American Association for Cancer Research (AACR) Conference on The Science of Cancer Health Disparities in Racial/Ethnic Minorities and the Medically Underserved, in association with the AACR Minorities in Cancer Research Council, held in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown from September 16 to 19, 2022.  Below are some pictures from this event.
