Kasra Behizad is a second-year medical student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC with a concentration in primary care and community medicine. He has served as a participant, educator and coordinator of grassroots Freirean youth empowerment programs with the Ruhi Institute for nine years. As an early public health investigator, his research interests include planning, implementation and evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention programs among youth.
