Madelyn Pérez is a rising first-year MD/MPH student at the Keck School of Medicine of USC. She earned a degree in psychology from Pomona College in 2014. Prior to beginning medical school, she worked in the Coachella Valley for two years with HealthCorps – a non-profit organization aimed at empowering teens to make healthy choices.

Madelyn is currently a Board Member of USC’s Student-Run Clinic where her focus is creating programming to promote interdisciplinary healthcare. Additionally, she is a Board Member of USC’s chapter of the Latino Medical Student Association where she manages a community partnership with a local elementary school to mentor and encourage STEM interest in their student body. She is a part of Keck’s Longitudinal Clinical Community Medicine Experience, a primary care program that connects students with community physicians and clinics.

Madelyn aspires to be a physician-leader in her community with a focus on policy that affects Latino and immigrant communities.
